Subscription

Ok, so I lied; I'm not off the plane yet. Actually, I'm not leaving for another 13 days.

Here's the thing: I want to keep in touch with everyone, but for some reason I'm not sure that the first thing to cross your mind when you wake up in the morning or when you get home from work will be "Hey! Let's check Chris and Melissa's blog!" :)

So, I've been checking around, and it seems like the best solution to this dilemma is an RSS feed. Here's how it works: Windows users can download SharpReader, Mac users can use NetNewsWire, and Linux users are smart enough to find a good one on your own ;) These programs will let you subscribe to my site feed, "bryanadventure.blogspot.com/atom.xml". Then, whenever you open the program, you'll see what's new! Cool, huh?

Actually, there's even a better way, if you're using the Firefox web browser. If you're not using Firefox, then... well, why the heck not?! Oh yeah, I forgot that Internet Explorer was permanently hardwired to your cerebral cortex.

No, seriously, even if you are using Windows, go here and download Firefox... you can thank me later.

Once that's done, come back to the blog, and you'll see a little green thing in the very bottom right corner of your screen that looks like water ripples or says "RSS" or something, depending on the version. Click on it, and you'll see a menu that says "Subscribe to..." Click that, and your done! Now look in your "Bookmarks" menu. The blog will be listed, and you'll be able to see any new posts without actually coming here and wasting 10 seconds of your life while the page loads.

Melissa says I'm too sarcastic. Sorry about that. I would like you to subscribe, so that we won't lose touch. And whatever gets posted, comment, comment, comment! It will make me very happy. Like the first time I got an e-mail. Mmm, good times...
